Gymkhana
ETI Corral 37 has been putting on gymkhanas to
encourage riders both young and old to come out and have a good time
for over a decade. Our corral prides itself on offering events that
allow riders both new to the sport and seasoned veterans to compete
in a fun and fair atmosphere. We run using the CGA time-based rating
matrix and have AAA, AA, A, FC 13&over and FC 12&under categories,
as well as a Leadline(10&under) class. Day ribbons are
placed till fifth and Day End High Point Awards are handed out in
all categories*, and we also offer a Year End awards program and
give out prizes to Champion and Reserve Champion in all
categories**. We encourage anyone who has never tried gymkhana to
make ours your first! Day permits are available for only $5 to
non-ETI members, so come on out and give it a try!
*Leadline(10&Under) is a participation based program receiving
participant awards for classes and small prizes for all riders at day
end, and have a separate Year End award program sponsored by Barbara
Kloster, where all riders who sign up by May and compete in at least 4
shows/3classes per show will receive a Year End award.
**Riders must be members of ETI to participate, and sign up by May
show for Year End awards, and must compete in at least 5 shows/4
classes per show to
qualify. |

ETI 37 Gymkhana Presents Winter Gymkhana Practice!
At the request of some riders,
we will be holding winter practices at Conejo Creek Equestrian Park in
the afternoons. This is a GREAT way to decide what time category your
should place yourself in during our 2010 season. We will run 3 events
(2 random and Cloverleaf). Must be an ETI member (any corral) to
participate (sorry, no day memberships for practices, however we
strongly encourage you to join ETI!) Times will be provided. 17&Under
MUST wear a helmet (others strongly encouraged.) Questions please
email Melissa.
Volunteers WELCOME for helping sign up, announce/record times,
and gate duty.
$5 Grounds Fee Per Horse
$5 for 3 runs per event (or $2 for 1 run, $4 for two runs) runs done
