The Conejo Riders Equestrian Drillteam is the promotional entity of Equestrian Trails Inc., otherwise known as E.T.I., a National non-profit organization dedicated to the acquisition and preservation of open space and trails, equine legislation, and serving as a learning ground for teaching good horsemanship.  E.T.I. National was established in 1944, based out of Sylmar, California. 

The Conejo Riders Drillteam rides for E.T.I. Corral 37, with weekly practices in Thousand Oaks,  under the instruction of Drill Master Colleen McCall.  The Conejo Riders drillteam has existed for 36 years in the Conejo Valley, riding together over 3 decades without any lapse.  This patriotic group is composed of 10-16 skilled riders who perform mounted precision maneuvers at speed such as 4-corner box crossovers, pinwheels, interlocking wedding rings, and face-to-face stampedes, all executed in timing to upbeat music, with the 4 front lead riders proudly carrying American flags. 

Our riders have ranged in age from 9 to “eligible for Medicare”, with different breeds of horses trained in a wide array of disciplines, from dressage and jumping, to endurance riding, to gymkhana, barrel racing, to western reining and cow-working, to Arabian native costume showmanship. 

Despite the diverse backgrounds of the riders and horses, they blend together harmoniously, executing our intricate patterns as a single entity, as one congruent uniform team.  The riders diligently volunteer their personal time and horses to perform together at fundraisers, horse shows, county fairs, and rodeos, all promoting awareness of E.T.I. to the general public, and keeping the history of the Wild West alive in Los Angeles and its suburbs.
